MABA needs about a 10 or 12 volunteers to perform various tasks at the upcoming Expo.
People will be needed at teh reception desk, at the MABA booth, overseeing ticketing at the lecture rooms, and other tasks including setup and tear down.
If you're interested in volunteering and have a preferred assignements, please contact Mark (Hog feathers).

I'm not cute enough to work the reception desk. lol
do volunteers get to attend the banquest at night and any of the seminars??

Joe, I know for a fact that we didn't discount volunteers or even board members last year. Unfortunately, we're just too small of an organization to be doing that. Hope you understand.

Did we invite the Food Network? I guess that falls under Media / PR...
I am sure we could drive traffic if we sent out a Press Release and informed local media of the event. (We may have to slip them a few ribs.... )
I am trying to get my local BBQ spot to at least place an ad in our program. |

Andy, That would be great if more local BBQ restaurants got ad's in.
We have advertisements covered in the Lancaster/York/Harrisburg area. Watch for it in the papers starting around April 1. _________________ MABA Board member

I dropped off a Expo Brochure today at Memphis Blues... Owner will be in on Monday and I will give him a call.
Should we also post the event on the local media outlet calendar of events? (WHP, WGAL, Penn Live ?)
