George,
That's a good read! We stopped doing Comp chicken - only to consentrait on our Purdue entry! This weekend it looks like brisket, anything but and maybe ribs. Just no more chicken!

I feel your pain...I am thinking of smoking a batch of salt this weekend....just anything but CHICKEN! _________________ george

Aparrently there is some "New" Rule about having foriegn objects in your containers? I know it's weird, Some new rule just popping up like that. But it happens.
Actually one of our toothpicks managed to cling to the boittom of a sauced piece and when they pick the piece up there it was laying in the bottom of the container.
And be careful of Ron's Grandson............Pure rotten that child is, Just like his Daddy............
Nah I'm just kid'n he's adorable and really got me good. With a toothpick joke after the comp. It was priceless. And a memory I will long remember.
Still not sure of his daddy though........ _________________ The only thing consistant in BBQ is, It's always the judges fault!

George - You do not have an addiction. Those people are jealous. You are the chicken-Man! A poultry artist! Give this Feather woman the boot! Since you are the leader of all things poultry I'll share a secret with you. I'm planning to use chicken feet as a "garnish" in my turn in on the 19th. (It's chicken and the rules allow any part of the bird so I should be OK) I think it will start a trend - are you with me?

I like it, I was gonna use lips, but feet would be much easier to work with. _________________ george
