As you may have recently saw in the latest MABA newsletter, Rick Bartsche resigned his position on the Board due to other commitments. Under the current MABA Bylaws, the MABA Board is required to appoint a successor for the balance of Rick's term, which expires in September 2008.
Any person interested in serving on the MABA Board of Directors should send me an e-mail or private message expressing their interest. The only qualification is that you be a MABA member in good standing. A resume is not required but your background and what skills you could bring to the Board should be outlined.
The vacancy will most likely be filled at the May 4, 2008 Board of Directors meeting, so all submissions must be received by me no later than Wednesday, April 30.
