I was very impressed with the quiet running Honda at Gavinnels (think it was Widespread's). I got a price of $879 w/ free shipping for a 2000 model. Should I keep looking for a better price????

That sounds pretty good. My neighbor at Galvenells (Piglickers) brought the same model and shared it with us. Nice unit, it ran all night on 1 gallon and was very quiet. He said that his company bought 40 of them for $900 apiece.

I had a McCullough Model out there, 1800w, $500 to my door. It was just a bit louder than the Honda, but we had it behind a tree, and didn't even notice it.

Thats a good price for a Honda. They're 999 everywhere else. You can check out the Kipor's also. I think they're a chinese Honda knock-off. Some people at our offroad club have them. They like them, but finding parts can be a bitch when they break.
