Shotgun Fred is doing well considring what happened. The Stroke on Friday Morning was caused by blood pressure and he had two blood vessels break in his brain. Thank God they were not bad enough to where the Doctors had to preform surgery. They are currently trying to stablize his blood pressure and then they can move him from Salisbury to Abington Hospital, back here in PA. The good news is that he is showing progress of movement and feeling on his left side. Shotgun is and has always been a fighter and we need your prayers to help him along. Thank you to everyone showing support, It has been nothing less than amazing how great all of you BBQ folks have been since Friday. If you called me on my cell phone and I did not respond, please call me again. I have been a little overwhelmed with the situation.

According to Bob Fred is to be transfered to Abington Hospital today. That is good news as it indicates that he is more stable

He truley has been in my thoughts and prayers...when we were told of this at the cooks meeting , I was shocked  I persoanlly have only met him 1 time in Dover last year, however a Legend in BBQ. He's a tuff ole goat LOL need to bring some humor to a very to this very unhappy time. I'm sending postive thoughts and healing light his way to Fred and his Family during this difficult time.
