Lo' -N- Slo' BBQ will be there. We may head down Thursday night and stay in Dover Downs parking lot with the toy hauler. Finish the trip in the AM. Rich and Connie from Pig Pen BBQ will be joining us towing the hog cooker. See you then. _________________ Tom & Michele & (Sky(taste tester))

Fat Angel should be arriving Friday around noon. Loren can't make the trip as she will be in Vegas for her Bachelorette party. I look forward to seeing everyone.
I had a chance out to check out Lo' -N- Slo's Toy Hauler in Hamilton last year and it is awesome.
I wish 3 Eyz BBQ luck in defending the MD state championship. _________________ Steve

Thanks Steve. They upped the $ to $1,500 this year. I know quite a few teams that will be gunning for it.
So you competing solo then? _________________ Dan Hixon

I'm heading down Route 1 in DE like I did the past 2 years.. But, I also live up in Elkton... I'm shooting for leaving early Friday AM (7 or ... If you are going the DE route and that timing works for you, let me know and we can caravan down there..
I could use someone to drive behind me... Last time I went down Route 1 to a BBQ event (Dover), I dumped 2 bags of lump off the top rack of my SUV.... Fortunately, it landed directly in between the lanes and stayed in tact... _________________ 3 Eyz BBQ

Hey folks,
I've been chatting with Sandy from Wicomico County (contest organizer) about shower facilities. She ahs worked out a deal with the nearby YMCA to let competitors use the facilities for $5... Not free, but reasonable.
For those of you that do New Holland, it was nice having a shower to use Saturday morning.
Sandy did mention that if you are planning on using the facilities to give your name(s) to her several days before the event (sooner the better probably). She'll have to let the YMCA know.. Her email is

We'll probably head that way too, easier that fighting with the construction, and morning crap on 95. MAybe I'll get lucky, and something will fall off again, and I can hide it before you see it. _________________ Chris
