So somehow my mind got on my childhood toys of the 80s and started doling a web search, which led to searches on ebay.. Anybody remember any of the following?

Original transformers (and cheap knockoff gobots)
voltron
original GI Joes (well I should say 3 3/4", not the original original large figures)
intellivision video game
sky commanders
Starcom

any others you used to have??

Don't remember Intellivision, but I had an Atari 5200 back then and the dang thing made me fail half my classes in college one semester...
This was the HOT toy of 1972:

Oh yeah -- and what about vintage computers? I loved playing games on my Commodore 64 and my Amiga. Back when computers were really fun and only geeks had them Smile

When I was a kid, TV hadn't been invented. We had sling shot fights in the alleys (yet we got hit in the eye, but it didn't come out), dirt track races with bikes on an empty lot, and playing on box cars in railroad yards. We loved every minute of it.

you all are making me feel old. Pong came out when I was 17. My favorite toy was a Cox Baja Bug.

hey wait a minute! Childhood was back in the 60's! Seems like there's some youngin's here.

Well, I had the Original GI Joe's, that were like a foot tall or so.
And remember Mouse Trap?
I think Frisbees were new when I was a kid.
And how about Gumby and Pokey. They were stars of a kids show which featured clay-mation stop action animation photography.
Wow. I feel old now. I think I will take a shot now.
Of Geritol!

(christ, even THAT's OLD!)
