Hey Bill,
Welcome. Ya know you can always just hook up and practice with a couple of guy's too. Kinda get things set and worked out, Before actually competing. This helps with one of the big things in comps........Timing!
Hope to see ya out there at a comp sometime soon _________________ The only thing consistant in BBQ is, It's always the judges fault!

Thanks guys,
QUE can be kind of expensive for sure. Its odd in that QUE started in the south with the cheapest cuts of meats.
I'm glad I found the MABBQA because we're all pretty local. Most of the other forums everyone's from the Dirty Dirty. ( South) _________________ Bill Parlaman

This does get to be expensive especially for the initial costs. Walk around at a comp and see what other teams have so you can see what you want/need. Everything comes wityh practice. I have yet to get things where I want them to be, although my ribs that I cooked at home last weekend were the best to date. To me having a good time and improving your scores is what it is about. _________________ Big George's BBQ
