I spoke with Dave Goldberg, organizer for this event yesterday....so far they have 22 teams. The event is at the Atlantic City Race Track with a huge open area.....they can accomodate RV's of any size. We can,t go because of a catering job....they have some nice perks...next year for sure!
Check this one out!

They called and left me a message the other day. Kinda feel bad for them, first year contest, gas prices killin everyone. If Yardley wasn't the week after, I would consider going. I'm already commited to a cook in Chambersburg on Fri, then scrambling to Yardley Sat morning for that contest. _________________ Chris

I checked this out and I'm in. Like Rich said, this is a good event.
They have all the space they, or you need.
No extra charge for extra space.
Water and electric included. May pass hat for generator fuel. Nat Guard donated generators supplying power.
25 bands are battling over the weekend. 3 dollar entry fee.
Show tickets and limo service available to the casinos. Fri night.
Looking to become 100 teams in 5 years.
David Goldberg, the organizer, is a professional at this.
It's short notice, but sounds like a good one.

Rag, when you meet David let him know that I posted this for him. He said he will pass out the Que and Cruz flyers up there for me. _________________ "Life, its what you do between meals."

I heard a while back there were over 20. Supposed to be a nice venue for a comp. I believe Bobby Flay is supposed to be there too. _________________ Big George's BBQ

25 teams is a good 1st showing for a contest, with no many other ones sandwiched around it. _________________ 3 Eyz BBQ
