Hey All,
I wanted to check in and ask anyone their thoughts on the BGE. I am not an avid charcoal cooker, actually I don't cook on it at all, but I heard the Egg is very easy to control and manage. I am only looking at this because I was lucky enough to win a sizeable gift card to Meadow Creek Barbecue Supply at their open house and would like to get a new piece of hardware instead of a million and a half pounds of rub and a pair of tongs. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Dear Rapsody,
I have abunch of Meadowcreek stuff and love it all.....my favorite hands down is the chicken cooker with the double grate that flips over & over. I have two of these, a 42 for catering thta does a case of chicken at a time and a smaller one that the legs come off of. Both have a charcoal pan that can be raised up to do grilling. Check them out. (both have lids).
Congrats on you gift certificate !

Get a WSM and use the gift card on BBQ Guru stuff!!!! Heard great things about the BGE, not overly portable, but very efficient from what I've heard...
We cook on WSMs, so I am a bit biased... _________________ 3 Eyz BBQ
