Hey everyone, I am Steve from Fat Angel BBQ. We competed on our own for the first time last year doing 7 competitions. We had been an intregal part of Lost Nation Smoke Company for the past five years, but decided it was time to compete ourselves. We look forward to a very busy year competing in at least 5 comps, getting married, and opening a bbq joint near Red Bank NJ.
Look forward to meeting those i haven't met yet. _________________ Steve

Welcome Steve, congratulations on the upcoming wedding. Look forward to seeing you at the comps, where is your first? We started last year as well, only one contest, but got hooked!
Red Bank is getting a BBQ place? They need one, way back when I was stationed at Ft. Monmouth, BBQ was scarce up there. Best of luck, let us know when it opens, might have to make a road trip!

welcome Steve, Last year was our first season as well. Good luck with upcoming year. Opening a new joint, 5 competeitions and getting married, thats what I would call an aggressive schedule. You had better grab a hold of one of Rich's clonesickles to take along for the ride!!! Hope we see you around.

Thanks so much for all the repsponses. We are starting our season in Salisbury and can't wait. Other competitions include, Yardley, Wildwood, Freehold NJ, New Paltz, and Dover.
If you see us at any of these contests stop by for a beer.
I will keep everyone posted on the restaurant opening.
Check out our website for more info on our team.
