Well I spent a part of this weekend completely disassembling my WSM and degreasing and cleaning. Wow, what a chore. But she is shining in all the right parts. THink next year I'll buy a new one instead!!!!! Very Happy

What are some products that folks have used in the past to clean out there smokers/grills. I used a degreaser and then Simple Green..

I'm one step ahead of you Jason. I'm thinking next year we'll have 3 shiny new WSM's. Or, maybe even 2 new Tallboys. Hmmmm.

It doesn't matter what you cook on, as long as you know how to cook on it!

Damn.......so THAT's what I've been doing wrong all these years!!! Cool

Mine are getting there annual cleaning the weekend before Salisbury. Anyone else just top off the water pan every weekend? Laughing I use Simple Green Heavy Duty BBQ & Grill Cleaner. It's non-toxic and biodegradable. Just spray rub with a stiff bruff and rinse. The grates do get a scrubbing every week or so.
