The wife and I did a street vending gig this weekend. The health inspector never even showed up to inspect us after me sweating about it for 2 weeks. Oh well, I had everything ready anyway. We sold BBQ sammies, cole slaw, hot dogs, chips and soda's. We did okay considering the weather.
Here are a few pics of our setup.

Bill,
Nice Bain Marie. Where did you get it. Looks like a resturaunt deal.
Also I have done vending before, And nothing looks out of place. The only thing I did not notice was towels for drying hands, And soap should be prominently displayed. In the wash station.
Looks very clean and well organized. Nice job.
Also if the event is on a sat or sun and you pull a one day event permit, Most times they will not come out and inspect. They just want to know where and when you are doing the event in case of.....
Now if it is during the week or you pull up to 2 weeks...You can be assured they will stop by.
FYI, Do not ask the inspector questions. Let him ask you......
If you ask questions that is a red light that goes off and lets them know you may not have the experience to do the job. You may already know this but I thought it worth while to post. _________________ The only thing consistant in BBQ is, It's always the judges fault!
