Why wait till next year. There is a comp at Yardly in June less than 10 miles from where you live. My son, part of my team, is in Fairless Hills. _________________ Big George's BBQ

Still need to learn and am willing to be a grunt for awhile.LOL I will see you all at Yardley. Till then talk to you all here. |

Give the comp a try. God knows my food has not been very good. In fact sometimes I feel sorry for the judges. It is just the fun of the comp and meeting all the people. It is like a big family. Last year at Berks the team next to us came buy with their knife and showed us how t cut the Brisket as we had no idea. _________________ Big George's BBQ

Well my friend there is no stepping back now Welcome to the East Coast!!! I think of Comps as one HUGE tailgate party, and sometimes just sometimes they give you prizes. It's a new playing field each Comp and it's anybody's get. The BEST part is all the new friends you make _________________ Peace & BBQ

As everyone has said it is a GREAT time. Everyone is willing to help each other. If you come with the idea of having fun then the Comp was a success. Hope to see/meet you at Yardly. _________________ Big George's BBQ
